I have always been a keen creative and was bound to collide with photography somewhere along the line. I was introduced to photography in 2017 and it has since developed into much more than a hobby. I found in photography a highly expressive art form that I wish to use to not only create pretty pictures but to portray the ills of society. I have an ardent interest in politics, history, culture and human behavior and I want to showcase the functioning of society and humanity through photography.
Photography, I have found, is not a skill to be mastered overnight. It is a multi level field that is layered and nuanced. I therefore shy away from calling myself a "photographer" as I have much to learn about the discipline. I am currently opting for "developing artist".
